I still remember the first day I met Yeni; her smile had this calm confidence that instantly caught my attention. We only chatted for a few minutes, but somehow, those few minutes felt different and I couldn’t shake the feeling that something special had just begun. One conversation led to another, and soon we were talking every day, laughing, teasing, and building a friendship that felt effortless. Somewhere along the line, friendship turned into love, and I realized I’d found my forever person.

Olayeni’s Version:

It was the first time I will be seeing him, but I knew he was coming, yet I had very little expectations. I thought to myself it might be one of those meetups…the end…

Then “Hi, Oluwaseun is my name”, “Hi, I’m Yeni, it’s a pleasure to meet you, hope you are enjoying the party?”…and then the good morning and the good night, and each conversation felt like we had known each other for years! Finding very interesting similarities, yet unique in our own ways, and our friendship blossomed to the beginning of a new season and the journey to forever!!

From that first hello and to countless conversations that followed, our story has been one of laughter, faith, and beautiful surprises, including a proposal that was as fun as it was unforgettable (we’re still smiling about it!). Now we’re counting down to March 28, 2026, ready to celebrate our next big adventure surrounded by our family and friends.
